Who is Allah?
Allaah is the Arabic word for "one God", the same as Eloh in Aramaic. Allaah is not the God of Muslims only. He is God of all creations, because He is their Creator and Sustainer.
In His final testament, the Qur’an, He describes Himself like this:
Say (O Muhammad): "He is Allah, (the) One.
Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).
He begets not, nor was He begotten;
And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."
(Translation of the meaning of the Qur’an 112:1-4).
